Over eight weeks, you’ll learn far more than basic commands. We’ll show you how to build a strong relationship with your puppy, develop focus around distractions and teach the practical life skills that make everyday life enjoyable for both you and your dog.
Our aim isn’t simply to teach your puppy to listen — it’s to help them choose to work with you because they trust and enjoy being with you.
As part of the course you’ll also begin working towards the APDT Good Companion Award Scheme (Puppy/Foundation Level), giving you clear goals to work towards as your puppy progresses.
The first part of your eight-week Puppy/Beginners Life Skills Course is a pre-recorded Puppy Preparation Presentation, which you can watch from the comfort of your own home at a time that suits you.
Watching the presentation before attending your first practical class means you’ll arrive with the knowledge and confidence to get the very best from your hands-on training, allowing us to spend more time helping you and your puppy put these skills into practice.
