You name it. We have heard it. How about thinking of these behaviour struggles in a new exciting way. They all occur as they are lacking skills and behaviour concepts. How exciting is it to know that you can teach these concepts to your dog so their behaviour concerns ease and get better!

For example if your dog is aggressive it could be seen as being scared and protecting himself, looking at this in a new way that he is lacking confidence he’s pessimistic about the events that are about to follow and his stress levels are through the roof so he is unable to cope with any other stresses which are placed on him. Teaching your dog the skills to be optimistic, to disengage from the perceived threat and to build calmness will mean this dogs life and your own life is transformed.

How do we do this?
Via games teaching a new outlook on these life skills needed to get that perfect family dog. We work with you to find the underlying concerns and put a plan together build the skills your dog needs through fun games and relationship building.

Main Points

The behaviour consultation consists of 4 sessions. These can take place in the home or online depending on your preference (after all if your dog is human reactive why do we want to stress them out more with my presence if we can have the same training live on a video consultation).

We will look at your dog as an individual creating that personalised plan to grow the areas your dog is struggling with. Covering the games and concepts to boost and develop the skills they are lacking which are resulting in the problem behaviours seen. Whether that be independence for separation issues, lack of disengagement causing chase or dog to dog reactivity, or a lack of confidence and optimism causing a fear of new situations.

How this works?

Session 1 – Information gathering and foundations (approx 30-40min)

This session is held via zoom and lets us set out the transformation plan. We will investigate the questionnaire and videos of behaviour we have asked for in detail and lay the foundations of games and training ready for our in person sessions.

Discussing what is happening in your dogs mind, what skills we need to grow to improve and change behaviour, including safety and management that needs to be put into place and how to do this. We will also lay out how the first in person session will be set up for success.

You will be given homework after this session which will give us areas to progress on from in sessions 2-4.

Session 2
Building the application of the skills learnt in session 1 and taking it to the next level about how to implement/apply the training to help progress the training needed to resolve your dogs struggles.

Session 3 and 4
Progressing the training from the previous session ensuring you know how to continue moving forward in your training to achieve that ideal family dog.

(in person sessions last approx 60-90min)

All clients have the ability to communicate with your trainer throughout the training process. This ensures you are progressing between and after sessions and discuss any struggles as they arise.

All this for £400

Future sessions required? Do not worry these are then moved to training sessions and we will discuss if your dog is best suited to continued one to one sessions or to join one of our group classes.
